Marcia is a highly experienced Remedial Massage Therapist and Aromatherapist with over 15 years of clinical practice. She holds postgraduate certifications in lymphatic drainage, oncology massage, and aromatherapy facials.
Marcia is deeply passionate about supporting her patients’ health and wellbeing, particularly in managing pain and stress. She tailors every treatment to the individual, carefully adjusting pressure and techniques to suit each person’s needs. Her approach is thoughtful, intuitive, and results-focused.
She provides pregnancy massage to support expectant and new mothers in relieving discomfort, reducing tension, and feeling their best during this important stage of life. Marcia is also certified in infant massage instruction, empowering parents with gentle techniques to support their baby’s wellbeing.
Marcia specialises in the Scar Tissue Release and Integrated Therapies (STRAIT) Method, addressing both the functional and cosmetic effects of scar tissue. Chronic or old scars can create abnormal tension patterns within the body, contributing to pain and reduced mobility. The STRAIT Method aims to reduce scar restrictions, improve tissue texture, and restore more natural movement.
