NAOKI OTA

ACUPUNCTURIST
B.HSc (Traditional Chinese Medicine)

Naoki completed his Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Technology Sydney. He is a registered acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner with ANTA.

Since graduating, Naoki has been practising Japanese-style acupuncture, which uses very fine needles and gentle techniques to minimise discomfort. This approach is particularly suitable for patients who may feel anxious about needling, as treatments are typically very subtle, painless and relaxing.

Naoki has a special interest in treating both musculoskeletal conditions and internal conditions, such as digestive issues, immune issues, hormone balancing etc. He works closely with patients to tailor treatments to achieve both short-term relief and long-term improvement.

He also takes a holistic approach to health, recognising the close relationship between the physical and emotional body. Naoki believes that addressing both aspects is essential for achieving meaningful and lasting results. His focus is not only on symptom management, but on identifying and addressing the underlying cause of each condition to support overall wellbeing.

Outside of the clinic, Naoki enjoys rock climbing and spending time caring for his plant collection, with a particular interest in rare and unique species.
